AgriSchool Project
The AgriSchool programme has been funded by Coronation Fund Managers.
28 Schools have been identified for the AgriSchool Training, to date 21 schools have received their initial training.
Learners mainly from Grade 5 and 6 are selected from these schools to attend the training.
Approximately 20-30 learners per school are given the opportunity to participate in the AgriSchool programme.
Learners are taken through various phases of the project such as land preparation and readiness, planting, garden maintenance, harvesting and selling.
This programme also allows learners to acquire personal development qualities, such as taking responsibility for the environment as well as developing crucial entrepreneurial skills.
